Legal Notice – BPPE Religious Exemption Los Angeles Christian University (LACU) is a private religious institution approved under the California Education Code (CEC) section 94874(e), Religious Exemption, BPPE Approval No. 38194. LACU is exempt from oversight by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) because its programs are exclusively religious in nature and are designed to prepare students for ministry, missions, and other faith-based vocations.

LACU’s degree programs are not designed for secular employment, do not lead to state licensure, and are not intended to meet requirements for any government-regulated profession.

LACU does not offer any programs that require BPPE approval.
